ACTION ALERT - GUN BAN MUST BE STOPPED!

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE HB 208 Must be stopped!
ALERT! Immediate Action Needed!
The entire New Hampshire House of Representatives will likely consider
HB208 on Wednesday, March 30 or Thursday, March 31, 2005
Trying to make New Hampshire more like Massachusetts, Hampton Police
Chief William Wrenn and Laurel Redden, the NH representative of the
so-called “Million” Mom March, testified in favor of HB 208. House Bill
208 is a broad backdoor firearms ban. If HB 208 becomes law, all
firearms would be banned on any and “all property” used by students for
“school purposes.” This includes both private and public schools,
school buses and anywhere they travel. This proposal exploits our
children and makes you a criminal for the mere possession of a firearm.
Warning: your New Hampshire hunting or concealed carry license will not
shield you, if HB 208 is enacted! Think of all the places students go:
field trips to Old Fort #4, the Science Center, the Seacoast, or your
local pond. The football team’s post-game stop at a McDonalds makes the
restaurant and all the roads used on their trip prohibited places! The
bakesale at the dump or transfer station, or the
carwash at the local pizza shop will be off limits to you. You wouldn’t
even be able to leave your house to go hunting without risking arrest.
HB 208 Must be stopped!
Has a school bus like this ever stopped in front of, or near your house?
Has one ever passed you, while you were out walking?
Has one ever been ahead, as you drove to the range or to a hunt? |
