ACTION ALERT - GUN BAN MUST BE STOPPED!
Hampton Police Chief sides with

On January 21,
we alerted you about HB208
a sweeping gun ban. Below is an important update that requires your
immediate attention.
Trying to make New Hampshire more like Massachusetts, on January 25, Hampton
Police chief William Wrenn and Laurel Redden, the New Hampshire representative
of the so called "Million" Mom March testified in favor of HB 208. House
Bill 208 is a broad backdoor firearms ban. If HB 208 becomes law, all firearms
would be banned on any and "all property" used by students for "school
purposes." This includes both private and public schools, school buses
and any where they travel. This proposal exploits our children and makes
you a criminal for the mere possession of a firearm. Warning: your New
Hampshire hunting or concealed carry license will not shield you, if HB
208 is enacted! Think of all the places students go. Field trips to Old
Fort #4, the Science Center, the Seacoast, or your local pond. Every McDonalds
the football team stops at after games and all the roads between the schools.
The bakesale at the dump or transfer station, or the carwash at the local
pizza shop. You wouldn't even be able to leave your house to go hunting
without risking arrest.
HOW YOU CAN HELP!
1) A subcommittee of the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee will
be meeting to consider HB 208 on Thurs. Feb 17 (the subcommittee members
are Representatives Bicknell, Dowling and Sullivan, see contact information
below), call and email them before the meeting and tell them HB 208 is
a bad idea and can't be fixed, and you want them to vote it down.
2) Call or email every Criminal Justice Committee member and tell them
you want HB 208 killed.
3) Call your representatives and urge them to be sure to vote against HB
208, when it reaches the House floor.
To find out who your representatives are, call your town or city hall or
