ACTION NEEDED – anti-gun NH GOP digs in…

by NHFC, Inc. on July 22, 2018

After we sent our last message about how the New Hampshire Republican Party selected a restaurant which is owned by a committed anti-gun activist to hold a candidate training session; numerous NHFC Members and supporters contacted me with additional information.

I was forwarded an excellent article that was written by Rick Olson in 2013 (President of Londonderry Fish and Game Club) about how hard Mr. Alex Ray worked to stop the construction of a 1,000 yard rifle range at Pemigewasset Valley Fish & Game Club.  It’s never been a secret that Alex Ray is deeply committed to the gun ban cause.

Several other folks were kind enough to send me the meeting minutes from the Town of Holderness Zoning Board of Adjustment that show Mr. Ray’s strident opposition to a new rifle range.

Still another NHFC Member sent me a screen shot from the Federal Election Commission’s campaign finance report and recommended that I use that instead of third party sources.  Yup, Mr. Ray certainly supports the anti-gun left.  Click here to see more.

And finally, the most important piece of the puzzle was given to me by someone with inside knowledge of the New Hampshire Republican Party.  We have been able to verify that Party Executive Director, Todd Chewing migrated to New Hampshire after working for so called Republicans in anti-gun New Jersey after leaving New York.

I’m sure that most readers are quite familiar with New York’s unconstitutional gun control schemes.  Such as bans on entire classes of firearms and magazines, non issue of concealed carry licenses and arrests of out of state travelers.  What is less well known, is that New York is home to some of the most anti-gun members of the Republican Party, such as former Mayor Rudolph Guiliani, former Governor George Pataki (father of the original New York gun and magazine ban) and current Congressman Peter King.  It is also important to note, that current anti-gun Democrat Governor Andrew Coumo, could not have enacted his infamous, anti-gun “safe act” without the cooperation of the Republican controlled New York State Senate.

Make no mistake, Todd Chewing appears to be very much an anti-gun New Yorker. This is probably why he arranged for a Republican party training event to be conducted at a restaurant that is owned by an anti-gun bigot and is reportedly refusing to change the venue.  Mr. Chewing even uses a New York cell phone: (516) 521-7926.  Yeah, he likes and respects New Hampshire, NOT!  Todd Chewing looks like he has New York values.

Here is what I need you to do right away, continue to contact Ray Chadwick who is one of several Vice Chairman of the Republican Party;  right now it looks like they’re digging in but maybe you can convince him. You can call him at (603) 566-9129 or email him at rfchadwick@juno.com.  Then, call Todd Chewing and tell him that New York gun control has no place in New Hampshire and that if he likes New York so much he should pack his bags and move back; (516) 521-7926.  Urge him to drop his plans to conduct any meetings or candidate training sessions at the Common Man.

Remember to be polite but firm when you urge these partisans to abandon their plans to host a training session at anti-gun Alex Ray’s restaurant.

Thanks for your continued support!
